What it is like

A herb. It has some white hairs. It has underground stems or rhizomes. They are 1-2 mm across. The leaf stalk is 10-25 cm long. The leaves are heart shaped and 4-8 cm long by 7-11 cm wide. There are long hairs on the upper surface and short hairs on the lower surface.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. It grows in mixed forests along streams and in moist places between 1,300-3,100 m above sea level.
