What it is like

A herb. It keeps growing from year to year. It grows 40-120 cm tall. The leaves on the middle of the stem are oval or round and divided into 2 or 3 pairs of segments.

There are about 300 Artemisia species.

Where it is found

It is a temperate plant. It grows on slopes, along river banks in steppes and dry valleys from low elevation to 2,000 m above sea level in China. In Sichuan.
