What it is like
A twining shrub. The leaves are alternate. The leaves are broad and heart shaped. They are 8-13 cm long by 4-6 cm wide. The flowers are funnel shaped. They are red or pink. The fruit is a juicy berry. It is yellow and contains 4-5 seeds.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows in sandy soil and twines over trees. In southern India it grows between 400-750 m above sea level.
