What it is like
A shrub or small tree. It grows 8 m tall. The branches are small and at first have a rusty coating. The leaf stalks are 1 cm long. The leaves are oval or oblong and 15-30 cm long by 5-12 cm wide. The flowering shoots are at the ends of the branches and there are many flowers in a group. The fruit are 5-6 mm across.
