What it is like

A mistletoe. It grows on pine trees. It is 5-15 cm tall. The branches are opposite and can be in rings or 3-4. The scale leaves are 0.5-1.5 mm long. Male flowers occur singly or in pairs. Female flowers occur singly.


Where it is found

It is a temperate plant. It grows in mixed forests on mountain slopes between 2,600-3,500 m above sea level in southern China. In Sichuan and Yunnan.
