What it is like
A climbing shrub. The leaves are narrowly oblong. They are 5-12 cm long by 0.5-1.6 cm wide. They are irregular along the edges. The flowers are in groups or 2-5. The fruit follicles are oval and 6-7 cm long by 2-3 cm wide. They have ridges along them.

It is a temperate plant. It grows from sea level to 500 m above sea level.
