What it is like
A small tree. It grows 2-5 m tall. The leaves are heart shaped at the base and do not have a leaf stalk. They tend to clasp the stem. They are 3-15 cm long by 2-7 cm wide. The flowers have triangle shaped hairy flower parts. The fruit are small and orange-yellow. They have white flesh.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in savannah. It grows in areas where the rainfall is 1,000-1,400 mm per year. It grows between 450-700 m above sea level.
