What it is like
A tree. It grows 15 m tall. The branches are slender. The leaves are oblong to sword shaped and taper to the base. The flowers are very small and without stalks. They are yellow and in spikes. Male and female flowers are on separate trees. The fruit are small and in clusters in the axils of leaves. They are round and 2 valved. The pulp is yellow.

It is a tropical plant. It grows as an understorey plant in rainforest.
