What it is like
A tree. It grows to about 25 m tall. The trunk can be 28 cm across. The leaves are alternate and simple. The flowers are 7 mm across. They are yellow and in close groups. The fruit are about 2 cm long. They are yellow to orange or red. The seeds have an orange layer around them.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in forests up to 575 m above sea level.
