What it is like

A shrub or small tree. It grows 2-10 m tall. The leaves are oblong to narrowly oval and 5-18 cm long by 2-9 cm wide. Male and female plants are separate. The fruit are oval and 5-8 mm long by 3-5 mm wide.

Also put in the families Euphorbiaceae and Stiliginaceae.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. It grows near the coast and at low altitudes.
