What it is like
A small tree. It can be a winding shrub 1-2 m tall. The leaves are 4-13 cm long by 2-5 cm wide. The fruit are oval and 4 mm long. They are black when ripe. They are edible.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. In grow in valleys in forest and can be on limestone. It grows between 300-1,700 m above sea level in China. In Sichuan and Yunnan.
