What it is like

A shrub or small tree. It grows 7 m tall. The small branches droop. The leaves are narrowly oval and taper to the tip. The leaves are opposite and the bases can overlap. The flowers are in groups of 3-5 flowers in the axils of leaves. They are small and yellowish-white.


Where it is found

It is a tropical plant. It grows in moist lowland rainforests and in secondary wet forests. It grows along the edges of streams and along roadsides up to 700 m above sea level.
