What it is like

A taro family herb. The tuber is flattened and round and 2-8 cm across. It produces offsets. These are long and thin. They can be 2-27 cm long by 4-10 mm across. There is a single leaf with a smooth leaf stalk. This can be 25-125 cm long. It has green patches. The blade is 100-160 cm across. It has sword shaped leaflets. These are 11-48 cm long by 2-11 cm wide.

It is a tropical plant. It grows below 1,500 m above sea level.
