What it is like

A ginger family herb. It is 1-1.5 m tall. The ligule is 2-4.5 cm long The leaves are narrowly sword shaped and 20-30 cm long by 3 cm wide. The flower spike is 1-3 cm long. They are white with yellow tips. The fruit is an oval capsule 2 cm long by 1 cm wide. It is 3 angled. The seeds are purple brown.
