What it is like

A straggling shrub. The leaves have stalks. They are alternate and divided into 3 leaflets. The leaflets have short stalks. They are 1.2-12.5 cm long by 0.8-6 cm wide. They are broadly oval and taper to the tip. The side leaflets have teeth. The flowers are pinkish. The fruit are red.

In Nepal plants grow between 2600-2900 m altitude.
