What it is like
A tree. The leaves are small. They are 6-12 cm long by 2.5-5 cm wide. The young leaves are red and hang down. The fruit is round and 12-18 cm long by 8-12 cm wide. There are 10-12 seeds per fruit.
Guttiferae/Clusiaceae are mostly confined to the tropics and subtropics.

It is a tropical plant. It grows between 500-1700 m altitude.
