What it is like

A herb. It keeps growing from year to year. The stems are 20-100 cm tall. The leaves at the base are kidney shaped. The leaves on the stem are without stalks and narrowly sword shaped. They are 2-10 cm long by 1-3 cm wide. There are teeth along the edge. The flowers are purple or dark blue.


Where it is found

It is a temperate plant. It grows in northern China and Inner Mongolia. It grows in sunny grassy places below 2,000 m above sea level.
