What it is like
An erect herb. It grows 30 cm tall. It forms tubers 10 cm long. It puts up stems each year. The leaves are 10-15 cm long. They are narrowly sword shaped and tape to the base. The flowers are funnel shaped and have 5 petals. The fruit stalk is longer and curves downwards. The fruit are narrowly oval and leathery.
Where it is found
It is a tropical plant. It grows on dry stony hills between 1,450-1,650 m above sea level.
