What it is like
A herb. The leaves are 2.5-4 cm long by 0.8-1.8 cm wide. They are oval and entire. The flowers are small and white. They can be in the axils of leaves or at the end of the branches. The fruit is a capsule.
Where it is found
A tropical plant. In Nepal it grows up to 2000 m altitude. It grows along stream banks and in humid areas.
